As part of our ongoing commitment to offer our clients and their employees an even higher standard of healthcare, we’ve been working hard behind the scenes to bring new benefits to our health centers.

Read on to learn more about one of the great new features now rolling out to all WeCare tlc health centers across the United States.

Our expanded formulary means more medications than ever

We’re happy to announce that we’ve expanded the list of medications available at all of our health centers. This expanded formulary includes many of the brand name drugs prescribed by health center clinical teams, giving members access to more medication options than ever before.

How does this new expanded formulary benefit clients and their employees?

  • Great savings

This change represents savings for both clients and health center members. After many months of negotiations, we’ve been able to secure supplier pricing at least 25% lower than the Average Wholesale Price (AWP). This makes the cost significantly lower than any of the pharmacy programs our clients may currently use.

As a result, clients will receive a cost reduction on their Rx spend, and members are able to receive these medications without any co-pays!

  • Simplified healthcare

Since prescriptions will be filled by our pharmacy wholesaler remotely, the amount of medications necessary in the health center at any one time will be significantly reduced. For clients, this means less money tied up in inventory.

For members with multiple medications, this also means a simplified refill process. The clinical team will synchronize member prescriptions so they’re all filled at the same time—meaning less health center visits just to collect medications.

  • Increased health center utilization

The ultimate goal of these improvements, offering members more medications with no co-pays and a simplified refill process, is to encourage greater utilization of the health center—meaning that clients can realize an even greater return on their investment!
